How to Use

All Needed products are designed to be taken together to optimally nourish and support you and baby before, during, and after pregnancy.

Prenatal Multi:

When to take: With a full meal, ideally in the morning or around lunchtime for optimal energy throughout the day. Avoid within 5 hours of bedtime due to energizing nutrients

Flexible dosing: Split your serving between meals if preferred

Starting out: If switching from a less nutrient-dense prenatal, start with half doses and work your way up to the full recommended dosage:

- Multi Capsules: Begin with 4 capsules, work up to 8 capsules
- Multi Essentials: Take all 3 capsules (can divide between meals or take before bed if nauseous)

Omega-3 Fish Oil or Omega-3+ Vegan:

- Take 2 softgels daily with food
- For optimal Choline absorption, take at a different time than your Prenatal Multi

Pre/Probiotic: Take with food at any time of day

    Will purchase for years to come

    I started taking 6 months preconception as I was preparing my body. I did continue to take through postpartum and I experienced no hair loss. Now currently pregnant with my second and feel like I am getting all the nutrients I need, even on days when all I feel like eating is a potato. Love these prenatals.

    I found these from the Healthy as a Mother podcast. I had been struggling deciding between all the popular prenatals but was sold on these from learning what Dr. Leah and Dr. Morgan said about them. I am not yet pregnant, but hoping to be soon. What's the difference between the 3 Prenatal Multis?

We offer three prenatal multivitamin options:

Capsules vs. Powder:
Our Prenatal Multi Capsules (8 per day) and Prenatal Multi Powder (2 scoops per day) contain equivalent nutrients—it's just personal preference. You can also combine them (4 capsules = 1 scoop). For example, take one scoop in a smoothie with breakfast and 4 capsules with lunch.

Essentials:
Our Prenatal Multi Essentials is a simplified 3-capsule version with robust amounts of the most impactful nutrients (like Folate), but reduced levels of space-heavy nutrients (Calcium, Choline, Magnesium). It's ideal for first-trimester nausea or longer-term use after breastfeeding. Our full Capsules (8/day) and Powder (2 scoops/day) are designed for optimal support through pregnancy and postpartum, including breastfeeding.

Why do the amounts of some of the nutrients in Prenatal Multi Essentials exceed the percent Daily Value?

We designed our Prenatal Multi Essentials to help you thrive, not just survive. Daily Values are set off of the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) which most often do not offer enough nutritional value for women, especially while pregnant or nursing. What's the difference between the 2 Omegas?

Both are highly supportive sources of Omega-3s. The main difference is sourcing: our Omega-3 is from fish oil, while Omega-3+ Vegan is from microalgae. The Omega-3+ Vegan also contains additional antioxidant support and a Choline boost.

We recommend Omega-3+ Vegan if you're vegan or need extra Choline, and Omega-3 from fish oil if you're getting sufficient Choline from your multivitamin and diet.
How do I know if I need Omega-3?

Research shows that up to 95% of women are not getting Omega-3s enough from their diet. Even if you are not deficient, additional Omega-3 intake can help support your health, especially during pregnancy as DHA makes up about ⅓ of brain lipids. Pregnancy and breastfeeding take a toll on women, as the body gives up nutrient reserves to build baby. Baby's optimal brain, nerve, and eye development is supported by ample intake of Omega-3 from the start.*

Depending on someone's individual needs, two (2) to four (4) softgels of Omega-3 or capsules of Omega-3+ Vegan can be taken daily with a meal. We recommend talking to your doctor or a nutritional expert to determine the right dosage for you.
