    No After Taste

    I take more capsules that my other fish oil but I feel better and my period has become more consistent. I get little to no after taste compared to other brands where I burp fish oil a ton. I love Needed!

    I am a pescatarian but do not eat fish every day. Especially during my pregnancy, when I needed to avoid deep water/high mercury fish (as well as raw) I was worried would be lacking in omegas during my pregnancy. Thanks to this product I wasn’t!

    Best omegas! No weird aftertaste, thank goodness

    Absolutely loving the prenatal Omega-3 3 month supply! There is no weird smell or aftertaste. I also love that I get a 3 month supply and don’t need to worry about running out. Truly have loved all the Needed products I’ve tried so far.

How do I know if I need Omega-3?
Our testing kit can help. Many are surprised to find that even if they eat a lot of salmon and sardines, their Omega-3 levels are lower than optimal. Our’s were! And, research shows that up to 95% of women are not getting Omega-3s enough from their diet. Even if you are not deficient, additional Omega-3 intake can help support your health, especially during pregnancy as DHA makes up about ⅓ of brain lipids. Pregnancy and breastfeeding take a toll on women, as the body gives up nutrient reserves to build baby. Baby's optimal brain, nerve, and eye development is supported by ample intake of Omega-3 from the start.* Depending on someone's individual needs, two (2) to four (4) softgels of Omega-3 or capsules of Omega-3+ Vegan can be taken daily with a meal. We recommend talking to your doctor or a nutritional expert to determine the right dosage for you.
Why are there different DHA/EPA ratios between the Omega-3 and Omega-3+ Vegan?
The reason our Omega-3+ Vegan product is much lower in EPA is due to the fact that it is very difficult to source EPA from algae and so most algae products will be concentrated and standardized to DHA primarily, with little EPA (though ours actually contains more than most).
Are your Omega-3 products vegan, allergen free, and Non-GMO?
Our Omega-3 fish oil is non-GMO. Free of eggs, fish allergens, milk, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy allergens, tree nuts, wheat, gluten and unwanted fillers. Our Omega-3+ Vegan is vegan and non-GMO. Free of 9 major allergens, gluten, and unwanted fillers.
I'm not pregnant or a mother. Is this product still fit for me?
Yes, our product is tailored for before, during, and after pregnancy, but it is beneficial at all stages of life.
