Autumn Immunity Boosting Smoothie with Needed's Hydrolyzed Collagen Protein
As the weather cools off, I’m all about adding some go-to immunity boosters to my smoothies. Most drinks we reach for in the cooler months are full of added sugars and unhealthy ingredients so I wanted to make sure to include a healthy but still balanced way to nourish as the weather changes.
This Autumn Immunity Boosting Smoothie is …
- gluten-free
- high in fiber
- free from added sugar
- immunity-boosting
- protein-packed
- blood sugar-balancing
- and delicious!
Ingredients:
*serves 2
1 cup pureed pumpkin
1 frozen banana
½ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 ½ tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
2 navel oranges (peeled)
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
1-2 scoop of Hydrolyzed Collagen Protein Powder
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until creamy. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Smoothies are best stored in a glass container filled all the way to the top.
