How it works depends on the product and purchase type:
Prenatal Multivitamins (pre-approved): Our Prenatal Multivitamins (Capsule, Capsule Pro, Powder) are pre-approved for HSA/FSA — no health questionnaire required. Simply select Truemed at checkout and pay directly with your HSA or FSA card.
Other products — one-time purchase: Select Truemed at checkout and complete a brief health eligibility questionnaire (under 2 minutes). If approved, your HSA or FSA card is charged directly. If not approved, your card is not charged and your order is canceled.
Other products — subscription: Complete your purchase with a regular payment method, then complete Truemed's health assessment post-checkout. If eligible, you'll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity and can submit for reimbursement — typically paid out within 2–4 weeks. Your LMN covers 12 months of recurring orders.

HSAs are only available with high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) and roll over year to year with no expiration.
