Electrolytes and trace minerals are necessary nutrients for optimal body function. During pregnancy you lose more electrolytes and trace minerals than at any other time.

Replenishing electrolytes and trace minerals are also needed to support hydration during lactation.

How to Use

Mix 1 serving into 1-2 cups of water, depending on your taste preference.

    New Mother Necessity

    I started using the Needed hydration packets when I was pregnant and doing my best to stay hydrated without all the extra unnecessary ingredients. They taste very good and they do what they're advertised to do. I'm currently breastfeeding and as many new nursing moms can relate, I'm always thirsty and doing my best to keep a steady milk supply. I still use these daily, I would definitely recommend to all pregnant women and new mothers.

    Safe Hydration

    I love the electrolyte packets, they are hydrating and I don’t have to worry if they are pregnancy safe or not. It’s nice being able to comfortably take something that is beneficial for yourself and baby too.

    Best out there

    These are the best hydration packets on the market. The flavors are light and the sweetener is very neutral (I’m very sensitive to alternative sweetener flavors). It’s great for nursing, I feel much more hydrated and I can tell it helps my mood when I miss a day.

    Essential for breastfeeding!

    Keeping me well hydrated through my breastfeeding journey. There are so many hydration powders out there, but this one has NO STEVIA which I cannot stand the taste of. So it was a winner for me. Grapefruit is my favorite flavor. I look forward every night to filling up my giant Hydroflask with ice cold water and pouring a packet in. It is so refreshing!

    Better than Liquid IV

    I love these hydration packets! They’re super amazing for postpartum breast-feeding. And they don’t have all the junk in them that liquid IV does. This would make a great gift for someone who just had a baby.

Does this include any sugar or carbs?

Our Hydration Support does not contain any added sugar. It’s lightly sweetened with real fruit and monk fruit extract. The amount of carbohydrates per serving is very minimal, below the threshold required to be listed on the nutrition label.
What’s the best way to drink this product?

We recommend drinking it cold, mixing 1 packet into 1-2 cups of water, depending on your taste preference. It can be enjoyed at any time throughout the day or night.
How many packets can I have in a day?

We suggest you enjoy 1-2 per day during pregnancy. You may increase consumption as needed or desired during preconception and postpartum. We do not recommend taking more than 400mg of magnesium at once, as higher dosages may slow the nutrient's absorption and we include magnesium in several of our Needed products.
Is this safe for my kids?

Many families choose to share Hydration Support with their children. If offering it to kids, we suggest smaller amounts based on age. For children ages 2–3, about ¼ packet daily (approximately ¼ teaspoon) is appropriate, and for children ages 4–8, about ½ packet daily (approximately ½ teaspoon). As always, it’s a good idea to check with your child’s healthcare practitioner if you have questions about adding supplements to their routine.
